Netherlands hold off Scotland
Sterre Kallis starred with an unbeaten 87 as the Netherlands edged Scotland by seven runs. After entering at 27/2, Kallis struck 14 fours and a six to guide her team to 157/6. Scotland fought back with contributions from Kathryn Bryce (42) and Katherine Fraser (41), but Heather Siegers’ tight final over ensured Dutch victory.

USA chase down Namibia
In another thriller, Ella Claridge’s 70 powered the USA to a four-wicket win over Namibia. Namibia posted 144/6, led by Yasmeen Khan’s 74, but Claridge kept her side in contention, with Ritu Singh adding 21 vital runs to secure the win with four balls remaining.

Thailand edge Zimbabwe
Thailand survived a nail-biting finish to beat Zimbabwe by just one run, keeping their perfect start in Group B. Nannapat Koncharoenkai top-scored with 54, while Phannita Maya bowled the final wicket run-out to seal victory.

Bangladesh dominate Papua New Guinea
Bangladesh maintained their flawless run in Group A, defeating Papua New Guinea by 30 runs. Shorna Akter’s 37 off 14 balls, including four sixes, and Sobhana Mostary’s unbeaten 34 helped Bangladesh post 168/5. Six bowlers shared wickets as PNG were restricted to 138/9.
