WUMA Kung-Fu Athlete Sarina Ghaley Honored by Ghale Society UK

International medalist WUMA Kung-Fu athlete Sarina Ghaley has been honored with a cash award by Ghale Society UK in recognition of her achievements in international competitions.

According to Sanjeet Kumar Rai, president of the Nepal WUMA Kung-Fu Association, Ghaley was honored for winning international medals and bringing pride and prestige to Nepal.

The honor was presented during a special program organized in the United Kingdom on the occasion of Lhosar. Gurkha activist Pushpa Rana Ghaley and Ghale Society UK President, Retired Major Bishnu Bahadur Ghaley, jointly presented her with GBP 400 in cash along with a certificate of appreciation.

Ghaley won gold medals in two international tournaments held in the UK, the WMAC British Open Championship and the WMAC English Championship.

She is a third-dan WUMA Kung-Fu athlete and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
