France Crowned World’s Best Nation in Rocket League as FIFAe Finals 25 Conclude in Riyadh

The FIFAe Finals 25 concluded in historic fashion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with France lifting the FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League title to cap eight days of elite football esports action from 10 to 19 December.

France’s trio of Zen, Vatira and Juicy produced a dominant campaign, showcasing consistency, composure and exceptional teamwork from the group stage through to the final. Their triumph secured France’s place at the top of the global Rocket League scene on the biggest national-team esports stage.

The event marked the climax of the FIFAe Finals 25, the world’s largest football esports showcase, bringing together multiple football titles and communities under one roof. Hosted at the purpose-built SEF Arena, the tournament delivered a unique live atmosphere alongside cutting-edge production and entertainment.

Across eight competition days, the FIFAe Finals 25 featured 250 matches, a USD 450,000 prize pool, record-breaking digital engagement and millions of viewers worldwide, setting new standards for football esports in 2025.

The Road to Riyadh saw participation from 94 nations and millions of players, highlighting the continued growth of national-team–based esports within the FIFAe ecosystem. The season reached its peak with three nations crowned world champions across different titles.

Thailand claimed the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ Mobile, Poland secured the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ Console, and France completed the historic lineup with their Rocket League world title.
